Kabana, was founded in 1975 by Stavros Eleftheriou, the undisputed master of inlay. At the age of 22, Stavros settled in Albuquerque, New Mexico and learned the ancient techniques of inlay from a traditional jeweler. He then founded his own jewelry design house named Kabana, the Greek word for bell. The name came from the emblematic bell tower of a converted church , home of its operational headquarters. Kabana maintains uncompromising quality standards and retains the finest of American craftsmanship.
Today, Stavros and two of his children Nick and Sofia select the finest quality materials and oversee each step of the design and manufacturing process.
